How to Access Our Services

The referral process for Victim Services Bruce Grey (VSBG) generally follows these steps:

  1. Referral Source: Referrals can be made by law enforcement, healthcare providers, community organizations, or directly by victims themselves.

  2. Initial Contact: After a referral is received, a VSBG staff member will reach out to the individual, either by phone or in person, to begin the process.

  3. Needs Assessment: A staff member will conduct an assessment to understand the individual’s needs and determine the most appropriate services or programs, such as crisis support, legal advocacy, or financial assistance.

  4. Service Plan: Based on the assessment, a tailored service plan will be created, connecting the individual with relevant resources.

  5. Ongoing Support: VSBG will provide follow-up to ensure the individual is receiving the necessary support and will offer additional resources as required.

  6. Confidentiality: All information shared during the referral and service process is kept confidential to protect the individual’s privacy and safety.
