How to Access Our Services
The referral process for Victim Services Bruce Grey (VSBG) generally follows these steps:
Referral Source: Referrals can be made by law enforcement, healthcare providers, community organizations, or directly by victims themselves.
Initial Contact: After a referral is received, a VSBG staff member will reach out to the individual, either by phone or in person, to begin the process.
Needs Assessment: A staff member will conduct an assessment to understand the individual’s needs and determine the most appropriate services or programs, such as crisis support, legal advocacy, or financial assistance.
Service Plan: Based on the assessment, a tailored service plan will be created, connecting the individual with relevant resources.
Ongoing Support: VSBG will provide follow-up to ensure the individual is receiving the necessary support and will offer additional resources as required.
Confidentiality: All information shared during the referral and service process is kept confidential to protect the individual’s privacy and safety.
